Car starter Empty
PostSubject: Car starter    Car starter EmptyMon 23 Nov - 10:47

Working on a design for this project has come up with a few questions. If the schematics I've seen it looks like the relays are set in such a way as to cutoff the key from starting the vehicle in lieu of the arduino and Nfc. I go to a few med clinics and hotels that have valet parking and I will need the key to remain usable. Also what kind of measures should be setup such as checking that the brake is on and is in Park before implementing relays. I hope this will start a conversation on the forum

Hi Logan,
Which schematics are you talking about? If it's the files from NFC ring forum, the board can be installed and you can still use the key as it in // with the NEIMAN system.
The board have a input which can check the state of the brake. But I don't try the system yet Wink

OK, that was what I was wondering. I think it was the one on the forum, and it looked like it bypassed the keys connection to the relays. When I look at my schematics I think my system uses the gmlan commands to set the on and ignition relays. Even my security bypass doesn't actually use a key or resistor. It reads the keys code when you turn it to on, and then send that code back to the obd when the remote is used. This may make bypassing the security easier as the bypass comes on when one of its wires is grounded.
